So Neo decided that he could instead do the next best thing and start looking into any DDLC fan games that looked promising and do a Let's Play on one of them! After doing a quick Google search, Neo found a fan mod on some random site that apparently turns the horrific mindfuck that was the original game and makes it a NORMAL VN (as indicated by the mod's name, 'DDLC - A Normal VN'), thus allowing the player to pursue a romantic relationship with any of the literature club members they wish without everything turning into something the average Hollywood B-rated horror movie director wished they could create on their best year. Not only that, the mod's page also mentioned that it would tackle the themes/subject matter that the various characters from the original game were hinted/shown to have, from learning to cope with their socially awkward behavior to dealing with the oh-so-tough and tricky matter of suicidal depression.
Presented with the promise of a regular dating sim version of DDLC that would also touch upon the tough subject matter relating to all the characters, Neo couldn't help but be intrigued, and it didn't take him long to decide to download the mod, apply it to a copy of the original game, and thus boot up the very fan game/mod that you see here in this video! Neo doesn't know for sure just how good the mod will actually be, but Neo eagerly goes into it with the hope that his first experience with the various DDLC fan games/mods will end up being a pleasant one!
