E Mu E6400 Ultra Manual

If you do your editing on a computer and transfer the wav files to zip or over SCSI to the e6400 you will really enjoy this sampler. The e6400 classic still has the Z-plane filters, and stil uses the modulation matrix that emu calls Cords.

This one particular sampler, could well be the single most definitive musical production
tool ever made, simply because you could do a full production track with only one with 128 meg memory
and complete the task to the highest spec. Even today, in 2011 the digital conversion in an out
can still compete with the best converters out there. This sampler will encode its own samples at 16 bit'
but you can load 24 bit samples into it via soundforge or (chicken translator ). You can resample
internal at 20 bit, and all the analog outputs are 20 bit. All in all if you clock the E6400 to the best
digital source you have in the studio the sound quality you will realise is again go up even higher.
