VINCENT PARTSVincent Parts In Production Cosmetically accurate replications of castings and forgings in 4140 Chromoly steeland heat treated 4140 Chromoly steel. Bronze and aluminum parts as per originals. Lost wax, hard shell ceramic mold process.All of my Vincent parts have limited production.I am making a large variety of part numbers but few examples of each. Photo 5 shows the \'additional parts\' made in the UK. Still making the many individual parts. This will be the last batch. Heavier wall tubing and stonger 4140 steeel castings than OEM or retubed forks. 3 pounds heavier than OEM. Upper and Lower Fork Trees,along with the 4 Fork Links, and the FT227 screws, are heat treated 4140 chromoly to Rockwell 40C.

The OEM Girder is 8 1/2#\'s, mine is 10 3/4#\'s.Lost Wax, 4140 Chromoly steel castings give great detail and strength and are more dense than sand castings. The DOM, 7/8\' swaged to 5/8\' rear tubes and the DOM, 3/4\' swaged to 5/8\' front tubes have significantly thicker wallsand weigh more than the 1/16\' walled OEM tubes. Unfinished parts or unfinished parts kits are not available for sale. No need to inquire.FT208TS BRAMPTON REPLACEMENT FORK TUBES - $200 set of 4 tubes DOM tubing (seamless). Slightly longer than OEM. Original tubes are often heavily rusted on the inside. Front tubes, end shown on the left, have a 3/32\' wall thickness, thicker on the ends.

They are 3/4\' swaged to 5/8\'. Original front tubes have a 1/16\' wall thickness. Rear tubes, end shown on the right, are bent to shape and have a 1/8\' wall thickness, thicker on the ends. They are 7/8\' swaged to 5/8\'.Original rear tubes have a 1/16\' wall thickness.B20 type 1- HANDLE BAR CAP- $30 each 45 degree countersinks. Raised B20 is evident.

1 1/2\' longer to achieve proper lean angle. Shown on left is a stock original. Heat Treated 4140 to Rockwell 40C.FF31A - BRAMPTON Series A Handlebar Riser Cap, 1\' - $30 each 2 used on Series A Fork Upper Triple Tree Riser. For 1\' handlebars. Heat Treated 4140 to Rockwell 40C.FT10/1 - REAR STAND LUG type 1- $50 each Raised characters, FT10/1, are evident on the castings.FT10/1 - REAR STAND LUG type 2- $50 each Raised characters, FT10/1, are evident on the castings.FT93 - PILLION FOOTREST BRACKET- $65. Raised lettering and the original surface texture. 4140 chromoly steel casting heat treated to Rockwell 40C. NOT machined, billet, bronze or stainless. Modern cast bronze parts are from the UK.

Note, no lettering. Twins and Singles.FT118 - Vincent Prop Stand Bracket Series \'B' and \'C' - $200 This Bracket will fit to original Prop Stands. Heat Treated to prevent the (usually) left leg mount pivot hole from wallowing out and splitting.This is very common with originals. Difficult to repair where it will actually work.FT130/HRD - KNOB NUT, HRD - Nickle Plated Steel- $30 each Heat Treated 4140 chromoly steel to Rockwell 40C. 1/4\' BSF, HRD in 3/16\' letters, Magneto Cowl and Rear Fender Hinge Bolt.

Battery hold down.FT130/VIN - KNOB NUT, VINCENT - Nickle Plated Steel- $30 each Heat Treated 4140 chromoly steel to Rockwell 40C. 1/4\' BSF, VINCENT in 3/32\' letters, Magneto Cowl and Rear Fender Hinge Bolt. Battery hold down.Original series \'B' Footpad A bent, 3/4\' flat washer, welded to a small foot.

The lip on these feet is to the rear.To have a lip on the front, grind off rear lip and weld on 3/4\' washer with a previuosly bent lip.FT188 - BRAMPTON Series B FORK DAMPER KNOB- $50. Aluminum, 3/8\' x 26 CEI. With set screw. Aluminum Knobs were used after the pre-war Bakelite Knob stocks were depleated.FT188A - BRAMPTON A Side Damper Wing Nut - $30 5/16\' x 26 CEI threaded hole. 2.7\' overall length. Heat Treated 4140 Chromoly Steel to Rockwell 40C.

Heavier than originals. 2 drilled grease fitting bosses. Fitted bronze bushings. Heat treated, Lost Wax, 4140 Chromoly steel casting with a DOM tubing stem.FT210S - BRAMPTON Series B FORK HEAD CLIP ASSY.- $400. Use with 7/8\' handlebars.1 drilled grease fitting bosse. Fitted hard bronze bushings. Heat Treated 4140 Chromoly Steel to Rockwell 40C.

Not sand cast mild steel.FT210SA - HEAD CLIP, Series A Brampton Forks - $315. Use with 2 each FF31AS Risers and FF31A Riser Caps. For 1\' handlebars. 1 drilled grease fitting bosse. Fitted hard bronze bushings. 4140 chromoly steel, heat treated to Rockwell 40C.

Cadmium plated steel. I\'m not a fan of stainless steel screws. Yes, I do make the Saint Christopher Medal. Heat Treated 4140 chromoly steel to Rockwell 40C.FT229 - BRAMPTON TOP RACE CONE SHROUD- $60, available only with complete fork sets, PR30MB. Dimensionally correct.

The FT124 Headrace Cones actually fit in these. The 2 older UK made versions I have (easily recognised by the lack of the 2 each, 3/16\' punch holes on top) are not even dimensionally close. One of the very few fully machined parts I will ever manufacture. No one else is making them and they are essential in supplying a complete Brampton Fork Assy.FT232 - BRAMPTON STEERING DAMPER NUT ASSY. All steel construction. Heat treated 2 3/8\' cone shaped washer (which rotates freely). Another one of those parts that are not available from any source we could find.

Oh, and these fit. Bronze casting, as per original, available at no extra cost.FT233 DAMPER SPRING BLADE - series B - in stock, $20 Brampton Twins and Singles. These are Parkerized steel, OEM parts were painted black.

Heat treated.FT240 - STEERING DAMPER ROD - series B - in stock, $20 FT241 - STEERING DAMPER LOCKNUT - series B - in stock, $20 Rods are 10+ inches long, Parkerized 4140 steel. Nuts are chromed steel. Brampton Twins and Singles.FT263 - CRASHBAR LUG, 4 used for the CRASHBAR ASSEMBLY - not available separately. Originals were bronze, mine are 4140 chromoly. Cadmium plated.

Will work with OEM FT263 Lugs.G76-B - KICKSTART CRANK SERIES \'B' (Right), CHROME- $500 Lost Wax, cast 4140 Chromoly steel gives great detail and strength. These are properly broached and tapped with BSF threads, including after heat treat and plating. All are hand fitted for exhaust clearance on my Twin.

New splined kicker shaft pushes into hole by hand without wedge. Splines next to the pinch-bolt slot reduced to allow pinch-bolt to work. Heat Treated 4140 chromoly to Rockwell 40C. Series \'B' Twins.G76-C - KICKSTART CRANK SERIES \'C' (Right), CHROME- $500 Lost Wax, cast 4140 Chromoly steel gives great detail and strength. These are properly broached and tapped with BSF threads, including after heat treat and plating.

Twins.G108 - GEAR LEVER - $40 Raised part number \'G108\'. Cadmium plated. 4140 chromoly steel. Originals were bronze.

Series B and early C Twins.G108/2 - GEAR LEVER ARM- $90 Ever have one break on a Road Run and even though you found a welder,it still broke again?This heat treated 4140 chromly steel lever will not break,no need to carry a spare. Serrations are crisp. C & D Vincent Twins.Raised characters: G108/2 part number and circle SA forging mark as per original parts.Cadmium plated. Easily chromed, ask them not to remove raised characters.H13 - SERRATED WASHER- $20 Serrations are crisp. These will be cast (to look like the original cast ones)and broached square to exactly 0.500\'. Not machined stainless with a sloppy 0.510\' hole.Cadmium plated. Heat Treated 4140 chromoly to Rockwell 40C.

I offer 2 versions of the SAME Kickstart Crank: PR50B/1assy - Comet Folding Kickstart Crank Assembly- $397.40 with chromed Kicker Crank and all of the attaching parts. I got an annoying distorted sound in my Black Beauty of a SV236.It began after 5-6 years of normal use, and affected both channels, but not evenly. It became worse over some time, but could disappear at higher Levels. Sometimes it was quite fine for some periods.Okay, I ordered a new set of tubes, replaced them and put on my newest CD with David Gilmore.That was some letdown. The distorsion was all over again, and David\'s guitar was coughing.Once again I took my SV236 to the bench and dismantled the covers, connected a scope and monitored it over some time using sinewave, sawtooth and square signals.I found out that if I pushed the Loudness button it could be fine for a long time, but then suddenly the distorsion came back. The sine wave looked as someone was blowing at it right beneath the right top of the curve, making turbulence with the downgoing beam.Right, as the problem seemed to be affected by the Loudness, I replaced the 12V signal relay behind the Volume pot motor (yes it\'s inside the black metal housing).This was not doing any change, but after a round with my upsidedown screwdriver tapping Components from the front to the back of the printed circuit boards, I came to the speaker output relays.

And then, when tapping these relays, I realized that I was mislead all the time, this was not a common left/right side problem, but two individual relays failing at the same matter and time. OK they were probably twins, but seriously.Long story short: My SV236 plays clean again, with two new output relays setting me back some 15$.I\'m happy again. And David\'s guitar is crying again.
